Dental Technology We Use at Dr. Matt Gaworksi Orthodontics and Falcon Ortho

There are several examples of dental equipment that we may use during your visit:

• Digital X-Rays: We can use an X-ray machine to take an image of your mouth. We want to take a look at your teeth, roots, and gums. An X-ray allows us to see under the surface, making sure that we do not miss anything.
• Digital Impressions: We want to ensure that our oral appliances fit your mouth perfectly, which is why we may take some digital impressions of your mouth. That way, we can customize your treatment plan to meet your needs.
• Intraoral Camera: Even though we have plenty of techniques available, we may not be able to see the entirety of your mouth from the outside. That is why we may use an intraoral camera to look at certain locations in your mouth. We want to make sure we do not overlook anything.
• iTero Scanner: We may also use our iTero scanner, which is a digital intraoral scanner. We can use it to produce quick, color images of your mouths, making sure that we have the right treatment plan in place.

We may not use all of these devices during a visit, but we may use them from time to time to make sure we have the right treatment for your needs.
